Our Hardest Hitting Forward Compactors, Over 4500 Pounds of Compaction Force Bartell forward plates are innovative, hard-hitting, and low maintenance. Bartell's biggest and strongest forward plate compactor is perfect for many compaction applications — especially pavers — because of the high compaction force. Many pavers call for the base material to be compacted with over 4000 lbs, which means the BCF2150 is perfect for use on the pavers themselves (with the optional polyurethane mat), but also for compressing the base material underneath. The built-in water tank allows the compactor to be used on asphalt, and also allows for better dust control on dirt/soil.
