Starpatch LRA-20L – 18.9 L Liquid Stamp Release (Titan)
Starpatch's formulated release agent combines natural and synthetic components to deliver efficient concrete separation from textured stamping tools. This 18.9 L container ensures consistent mold release performance while minimizing cleanup demands on interior concrete finishing projects. The advanced chemistry reduces adhesion between concrete and decorative stamps, supporting faster workflow cycles and superior surface quality with less site contamination.
Recommended Use
Liquid RA ensures the safe and efficient release of concrete from decorative concrete tools and minimizes wear and tear to decorative concrete tools. Liquid RA is a clear liquid and will not affect the final appearance of a concrete project. Liquid RA provides a release option for projects where use of a powder release is not required. Liquid RA allows for the surface with release to be reworked if needed; simply trowel the surface smooth, re-apply Liquid RA, and re-stamp.
Composition
Liquid RA is a proprietary blend of oils and petroleum solvent.
Colors
Liquid RA is clear and will not provide a secondary color.
Surface Preparation
Clean existing debris from all stamping tools. Ensure that the concrete is sufficiently set, and that all bleed water has dissipated from the surface to be worked on. The concrete surface should also be at a stage where it is able to support the load of workers, as well as any tools that are required.
Application
Liberally apply Liquid RA using an airless pump sprayer to the decorative concrete tools and to the concrete surface. Ensure that the surface is uniformly covered for proper release of the decorative concrete tools. The stamp release should not be applied too far in advance, as evaporation of the product may occur, causing a less than clean release of stamping tools.
NOTE: Liquid RA should be applied in a clean, even mist in order to prevent spotting. Place the decorative concrete texturing or stamping mats over the area that has been covered with Liquid RA. Using an impact tool, ensure that the concrete surface is adequately stamped for depth of texture. Remove the decorative concrete texturing mats from the concrete surface. Allow the concrete to set for a minimum of 24 hours.
Sealing
To protect your concrete from staining, apply a single coat of S815 solvent sealer once the slab has dried. Additional sealer can be applied once the concrete has cured for 28 days.
Coverage
One pail of Liquid RA covers approximately 800 square feet.
Packaging
Liquid RA comes in an 18.9L (5 gal) and 3.78L (1 gal) pail, 27 pails per pallet.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store in a cool, dry area. Shelf life is 1-2 years from the date of manufacture in original unopened containers.
Clean Up
Clean tools with soap and water.
